The problem is how categorical it is, which may point to Brownback's ability or inability to be statesmanlike.
Brownback’s criticism that governors often do not have the foreign policy experience necessary to be president was aimed primarily at rivals Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee, both former governors. But in the process, he also took a jab at the man they all seek to replace, former Texas Gov. George W. Bush."
But I have to wonder what Brownback means by "experience." I would submit that there is more aptitude than "experience" involved in effective foreign policy and effective executive leadership. That being said, the value of "experience" is generally that it would reveal a person's aptitude more than somehow "equip" him or her to be the leader of the free world (read: "world"). I don't think it would be wise for Brownback to make this proposition--that former Governors are not equipped to become president, a major theme of his campaign.

Don't worry -- Brownback has literally no support in NH.
Neither does Huckabee.
Ron Paul is the man true Christians and Constitutionalists should be supporting.
He has all the foreign policy expertise that Bush claimed to have had -- non interventionism.
He also has the voting track record to prove himself on all other conservative issues -- right to life, taxes and guns.
Does Paul have as much support in NH as he does in IA? And what kind of "foreign policy expertise" does one need to draw upon as a "non-interventionis[t]"? And I guess you are a "true Christian"?
Sounds to me like Sam is worried about Mike after Iowa. They are both conservatives, and Sam is trying to take shots at Mike.
Mike can hold his own. When he gets around the people, those who are conservatives will see he is the real deal.
Anon, Ron Paul is indeed conservative. But serving in the house in Texas and working as a gyn doctor doesn't scream "qualified."
I love his rebel ways--willing to stand up to both sides. He's probably the most conservative of all, but may not seem so because he voted against the war and against the Patriot act--which is why he is also a hit with some liberals. (He was very well received on Bil Maher, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert)

Senator Brownback is an incompetent fool- a foreign Relations disaster who sponsored a law that makes it a crime for an American to even send a love letter to a foreigner!!!
I am talking about the International Marriage Broker Regulation Act of 2005 that Brownback sponsored- a blatantly unconstitutional law that seeks to “protect foreign women” by making it illegal for an American man to say hello online to a woman in another country without first having to supply criminal history and personal information.http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,1804...
Brownback championed the law with the Tahirih Justice Center an Iranian American NGO cleverly playing the "protection of foreign bride" card while masking the true motive which is to prevent American men from communicating or dating “foreign women uninfected by American feminism”.
This law is nothing more than legalized misandry carefully orchestrated by money hungry NGO executives who live lavish lifestyles paid for with taxpayers dollars. This law gives the power to the government and women’s groups deciding the conditions under which American men can romance or communicate.
Lets get to the truth: The only scientific study done on abuse rates of International marriages was done by the INS in 1999 that found abuse rates at a miniscule 1% which was one seventh the abuse rate for all US couples.
The incompetent Brownback claimed International matchmaking somehow constitutes "sex trafficking" despite the fact that there has never been a US based matchmaking organization even arrested for trafficking.
IMBRA is a fraudulent waste of taxpayers money that fails to protect women from violence. Senator Brownback you have some explaining to do!
