Amazingly? There are only several books, PACs, city and town governments, and congressmen that have called for impeachment. Why is this amazing to you? The only reason Bush will not be impeached is not because he doesn't deserve it, it's because the Democrats see it as a losing political move.
Several books, PACS, blue councils, congressmen? Try dozens.
But they don't claim to be Conservative.
But impeaching people who believed Hussein was pursuing WMDs (or even who believed Joe Wilson was a pompous, partisan, spousal junket-jockey) will take a LONG time, and include many Dems and Libs.
As I said, libs are too smart to impeach the president. BTW... Next time you demagogue 'libs' or call yourself conservative, remember the published definitions found in Roget's Thesaurus:
Liberal: ...generous, abundant, lavish, broadminded, tolerant, enlightened, charitable
Antonym:
Conservative: ...stingy, miserly, reactionary, regressive, bigoted, prejudiced, biased, narrow-minded
Ouch, William.
While we are throwing synonymns around I decided to "pick and choose" a few out of the thesaurus myself.
Conservative:
cautious, constant, controlled, conventional, holding to, not extreme, sober, stable, steady
Liberal:
detached, disinterested, dispassionate, high-minded, indulgent, inexact, loose, permissive, radical
That should take away some of the sting Ned.
You might want to actually post ALL the synonyms and antonymns next time as they are not all bad or good for either word.
Even the negative definitions of 'conservative' are far worse than the those for 'liberal.'

Besides, the GOP isn't the activist party . . . we don't have a professional protestor class, or a moveon.org nucleus, or a complicit dominant media . . .
Not that it has any bearing on whether a particular course of action is right or not, but did it ever occur to you that--as evidenced by the measured stands taken on the issue by Hillary et al, things might be different than they are portrayed inside the Liberal echo chamber?

Sorry, that was directed at Pam and her reference to all the manufactured hubbub in favor of impeaching Bush . . . I contend Pam & Co. (including William!) grossly misinterpreted the 2006 election results.
