Silly rabbit, such experiments could result in technology that may someday save your life or the life of your children. (I happen to know that first hand). Of course, I know that battle lines are already drawn in the Republican War on Science.
Well, Elmer, experimenting on humans is not justifiable, even though I love my family. And I'm not toeing a GOP line on this, they're toeing my line (unless they share my conviction).
But, is amoral self-interest a legitimate basis for making law?
