After consulting with her political strategists, McKinney plays the race card

Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga) has finally seized upon her best strategy to defend against disclosures that she punched a Capitol Hill police officer . . . she's a victim of racism! According to the NYTimes account, Rep. McKinney's lawyer threatens criminal charges against the police officer, and assures us that "this will be a fight." I hope that such bluster won't deter the officer from doing what he feels he has to do. This is sad.
