State Senator Jim Bryson to challenge Democrat Bredesen

State Senator Jim Bryson has announced his run for governor and is the likely GOP nominee to take on Gov. Phil Bredesen in November. Of course, the MSM has all but declared Bredesen the winner due to his personal wealth, statewide name recognition (he has run statewide several times and won once) and conservativish sounding positions on some issues. But Tennessee is a Red State, Phil Bredesen is a closet social liberal, and the mere presence of an "R" behind the name of a credible candidate is good for 40% of the vote.
