Loathing the military [ad campaign], and other Liberal inanities

The headline of this article caught my eye, "As Final Four Nears, Military Ads Will Decline," because I couldn't figure out its relevance to Sports, but the article masterfully demonstrates Liberal elitism.

Peace/Appeasement activists are wringing their hands over the Army/Marine/whatever ads being aired during the NCAA mens basketball tourney. The critics assign some nefarious intent to the ads and complain that they can't offer anti-war advertising (one Lib, in fairness, says, "They don't trust President Bush. Why would they trust a 30-second commercial" (speaking of marketing genius, how 'bout that slipping in the Bush Lied mantra?). Of course, that begs the question of whether they would rather have a) a draft or b) no military at all. Superficial policy is the hallmark of Liberalism, so they probably don't know the answer to that question; or they're afraid to tell us.
