Good thing there are no super delegates

With the news of tightening polls, it's a good thing Dems and the Limousine Left have never instituted a super delegate system in general elections.

Umm, actually the electoral college is the ultimate super-delegate system.

Not really. They're ELECTED and "obligated" to vote for the candidate they represent.

Yes "obligated" meaning they can vote for whomever the hell they want, but in some states could face penalties for doing so.

And besides, regardless of how the system works now, the original intent of those elitist founders was for the electors to vote their conscience.

Perhaps.

I'm just glad that Obama isn't going to be able to rely on super delegates to get him over the hump.
