Do you hate Palin that much?

I think it is silly to try and defend David Letterman's joke that former GOP VP candidate Sarah Palin's daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez . . . it was obviously a reference to the daughter of Palin (14-year-old Willow) who was in attendance with Sarah Palin at the Yankees game, where she (Willow) might have had a chance to meet the womanizing A-Rod, and--like her older sister, gotten knocked up . . . get it?

Letterman is appropriately being condemned for the attempt at humor.

"These are not jokes made about her 14-year-old daughter. I would never, never make jokes about raping or having sex of any description with a 14-year-old girl," he said. Letterman insisted the jokes were intended to be about Bristol, who is 18-years-old. "Am I guilty of poor taste? Yes. Did I suggest that it was OK for her 14-year-old daughter to be having promiscuous sex? No."

You gotta love Bristol Palin, teen slut and single teen mother who goes around preaching abstinence.

Oh so very Republican.

Oh, I missed that! Read the post before writing a knee-jerk, anonymous comment.

Even if Bristol Palin made a mistake, abstinence is wise, "Anonymous." But you're being kinda judgmental, don't you think?

Palin martyrs herself on a false cross of pedophilia while Letterman's ratings increase.

Just pointing out the Republican tradition of hypocrisy and phoney morals. It's fake. The same Republicans that preach against gays, turn out to be closet gays, the same Republicans that preach against teen sex are the ones that had sex when they were teens. My point. That's why you and your fake church of Republicanism have no credibility.

Ah, so the legitimacy of an idea stands or falls on whether every purported and actual adherent to the idea perfectly carries out the idea?

And, I'm not seeing Palin's hypocrisy in condemning Letterman for using her 14-year-old daughter as the butt of a crude joke.

Thanks!! for clarifying, "Anonymous."
