I think that the Tennessee Plan should not be renewed and that its renewal would be likely to instigate or awaken persons' displeasure with those who supporting it. This could translate into much energy being spent campaigning against those of either party who support it.
I agree . . . the TN Plan is amazingly elitist and anti-democratic, and a majority of average Tennesseans are opposed to the selection and retention process, but many legislators need to feel the heat before they see the light.
